The most widespread sexual dysfunctions in men are ejaculation dysfunctions, erectile dysfunction and loss of sexual desire and these are prevalent in the aged people though men of all ages are susceptible to such dysfunctions.

The ejaculation dysfunctions can be classified as; Premature or rapid ejaculation, delayed or retarded ejaculation and retrograde ejaculation. In premature ejaculation the usual problem is that a man will climax before or during soon after the penetration. Delayed ejaculation is the inability to ejaculate or a long delay before ejaculation. Retrograde ejaculation befalls when the sperm is forced back into the bladder and does not flow out of the penis.

In some cases, premature and delayed ejaculation are caused by psychological factors such as absence of attraction for a partner, a painful and distressing experience in the past. Premature ejaculation, the most prevalent form of sexual dysfunctions in men, is generally attributable to jitters over how well one will perform during intercourse. However, such symptoms can also be traced to anti-depressants and rampant use of other drugs.Retrograde ejaculation is prevalent in diabetic males. This generally occurs due to problems with the nerves in the bladder and the bladder neck that allow the sperm to flow back into the bladder.

Erectile dysfunction is also known as impotency. It is the continual inability to achieve or maintain full erection required to complete your sexual intercourse satisfactorily. There are two main causes of erectile dysfunctions: physical and psychological. Experts agree that the majority of cases are physical but sometimes many men with such disorders start to feel nervous or low. These feelings can easily aggravate the symptoms of erectile dysfunctions. The few causes of erectile dysfunction include diseases affecting blood flow, nerve disorders; stress, depression, and performance anxiety; and injury to the penis.

Loss of sexual desire or libido, refers to a decrease your interest for sex, causing concern to you and your partner. You rarely feel like having sex. It has been associated with low levels of testosterone, anxiety and depression; medical illnesses, such as diabetes and high blood pressure; and relationship difficulties.
